Olan Kaigel, designer and owner of Central Coast Building Plans, studied architecture at the University in Prague in his native country, the Czech Republic. In 1967, as a political dissident, he fled the Communist regime and settled in the Los Angeles area. He became involved in interior design, real estate, residential design, and construction.
In 1983, while attending the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles, with his wife, Dena and their two daughters, the family decided to leave metropolitan city behind and move to Atascadero. The following year, Olan started helping local contractors and homeowners with residential design until 2011. Now, after over 30 years experience in construction and real estate Olan is pleased to be back with Century 21 Hometown Realty. In addition to selling real estate, he also sculpts in wood, bronze and pottery. Some of his work is included on this webpage. |
